I have come to a realization.  I hate salad.

I have never liked lettuce.  The taste, the texture...I just can't.  I DO eat spinach though, and usually replace most things with spinach instead of lettuce.

Well, a couple years ago, I used to eat an almond salad.  I'd put in spinach, almonds, grapes, and feta cheese, and I really liked it.  I guess my taste buds have changed, though, because when I ate it earlier today...it tasted like vomit.  I scarfed down about 3 bites before tossing it.

I hate that I don't like salad.  When I see other people eat it, it looks so good.  I just want to gobble it down, but I can't.  Because I hate it.  It makes me gag.

I'm just going to have to figure out more recipes that have veggies, but isn't a salad (I ate a couple sushi rolls the other day, does that count?).

I'm considering trying like an egg-feta-spinach thingy (that's the technical term) and seeing if I can enjoy that.  Then add grapes on as a snack later on, and maybe add on a few carrot pieces.

Anyways, that's my realization of the day.  I hate salad, but I can still eat veggies another way.

Until next time (which will be Thursday when I weigh-in, agh!).
